BO Report Requirement Specification Document

Below is the sample of typical report requirement document.This document can be used at the first to gather the requirement from the user like:-.

  1. What is the objective of the report?
  2. How they want to see data in tabular/graphs ?In which format they want to see it PDF/Excel ?
  3. Who are the stakeholders?
  4. What navigation they want?Drill up Drill down may be some detailed report linking?
  5. And what is sorting ,filter criteria they want to see on the report?

So in general this  template capture initial layout of the report and how it should look and to whom it is intended to.
